Well you are in the right place here at the Sea Fishing Adventurer coaching we can help you on your journey into the wonderful world of sea fishing. All of our coaches are fully qualified and insured and come with many years of experience in fishing to help you on your journey.

We also offer adventures for schools and organisations.

Beginners

A beginner’s lesson into the wonderful world of sea fishing. In this coaching session, you will be told the basics of sea fishing.

You will learn how to:

Assemble a fishing rod correctly.
Attach sea fishing rigs safely.
Choose the correct weight for the conditions.
How to present the baits correctly on the hook.
The basics of casting your rod.
How to identify a bite on your Rod.
How to set the hook.
How to land the fish.
How to handle and unhook the fish safely and humanely.
How best to release the fish safely, not only for the fish but for you.

This will be a minimum of four-hour coaching session. The price of this coaching session starts from £25 per hour per person with a maximum of four people. Depending on your location, travel costs may be added, but this can be discussed in advance. All fishing equipment will be supplied.

Coaching for intermediate fishermen.

This coaching session dives a bit deeper into the art of sea fishing. We will start to refine your style of fishing.

Here is what we will look at:

Refining your casting technique to help you get a bit more distance.
Refine your rig selection to select the proper rig to target the species you are after.
Help you refine your bait selection to target a specific type of fish.
Understand how to read the sea conditions and discover underwater structures that may be holding fish.
Understanding of how the tide in a particular area will affect your fishing.
Refine your fishing style and equipment to get the most out of your day fishing.
Gain an insight into how best to fish at night and the best set-up.

This will be a minimum of a six-hour coaching session. The price of this coaching session starts from £35 per hour per person, with a maximum of two people. Depending on your location, travel costs may be added, but this can be discussed in advance.

Advanced coaching session

This coaching session is designed for people who have been fishing for a while and want to take their fishing to another level.

This coaching session is a one-to-one session and will be customised to your specific needs and designed around what you want to get out of the session.

Your session will start a few days before we meet on the beach with a telephone call or a Zoom call for up to two hours so that we can clearly understand what you want to get out of this session.

For the beach session, you must bring the regular fishing setup you fish with, including the bait you want to use, the rigs you like to operate, and the equipment you like to use. We will then work through everything we discussed in our previous call.

The beach session will be up to 8 hours, and during this time, we will go through everything we discussed until you are comfortable doing it on your own.

This will be a minimum of a 10-hour coaching session. The price of this coaching session starts from £50 per hour per person, with a maximum of one person. Travel costs may be added depending on your location, but this can be discussed in advance.

Schools and Organisations

Are you a school, scouting organisation, or any other group looking to arrange a sea fishing and seashore event?

If so, we can help. We offer support for scouts to obtain their fishing badges and for participants of the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme to fulfil their service and skills aspects.

If you’re a primary school interested in introducing your students to the fascinating world of the seashore, we can arrange lessons for you.
